TAXI
This Taxi Cab painting was one of the first of my original Pop Art New York series. When I was a child Taxi cabs were very large, bright canary yellow and had a very distinct boxy style. Although they aren't made anymore, the image of the original New York City Taxi remains. I Created this as a cropped picture to emphasize its bigness. This painting was one of the original drawings that I produced on lots of products for my souvenir company Fifth Avenue Manufacturers. It represents my classic iconic style that is recognized all over the world. It is a wonderful keepsake for anyone who has visited NYC. I am glad to be offering it as a print.
